Nono Shen is a full-time news reporter at Richmond News.
Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Nono came to Vancouver six years ago as an international student to pursue her journalism dream, and later she deeply fell in love with Canada. In 2017, she graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from the University of British Columbia.
As a bilingual reporter, Nono enjoys covering stories from the Richmond Chinese-speaking community since many don’t speak the language but are still eager to share and connect with mainstream society. Meanwhile, she hopes her stories could shed light on what’s going on inside the immigrant community.
