The City of Richmond is asking for the public's feedback on the upcoming new Youth Service Plan

The City of Richmond is seeking feedback about the new 2021 to 2031 Richmond Youth Strategy.

The new 10-year strategy will build on the city’s original 2015 to 2020 Youth Service Plan.

According to the city, feedback and input from youth aged 13 to 24, parents and guardians, and those working with youth will help build the framework to support and meet the needs of youth in Richmond.

The new plan outlines priority programs and service areas for Richmond youth and provides the city with a better approach to making decisions about youth-related matters.

“Richmond strives to be the best place in North America to raise children and youth, and has a long history of supporting the needs and aspirations of youth in the community,” reads a city statement.

The survey will be available until 11:59 p.m. on May 9.
