A drug trafficker who was being hunted by the Canada Border Services Agency has been found in Richmond. Xun Zhang, a 32-year-old man from China, was captured in Richmond on Thursday after a public appeal for information.

The RCMP have asked for the publics help in tracking down a car thief after a vehicle was stolen from the River Rock Casino. The suspect was seen near a Honda Accord around the time it was stolen from the parkade at the casino on July 25.

A black bear was seen near McDonald Beach this week, but theres no cause for alarm according to the City of Richmond. No further action is required at this time as the bear hasnt approached people, nor has it been seen near any homes.
