16 COVID-19 patients at Richmond Hospital

Across B.C. there were 733 people with COVID-19 in hospital as of Friday

There are several patients with COVID-19 at Richmond Hospital, however, none are in intensive care (ICU), according to the latest data from Vancouver Coastal Health.

As of Tuesday, there are 16 patients with the virus at the hospital, according to VCH, and there are no COVID-19 patients in the ICU.

Hospitalizations are declining across the province.

B.C. health officials reported the number of people in hospital with COVID-19 across the province dropped from 744 on Thursday to 733 on Friday. Intensive care cases have also dropped, from 120 to 113.

However, the provincial health office said on Friday that five more people have died of COVID-19 in B.C.

As of Friday, there are also 692 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C.
