Ransom & Kong, as the performance is being billed, sees William Ranson and Yinzi Kong combine for one of the WMA’s biggest concerts of the year.
Ransom was a scholarship student of William Masselos at The Juilliard School in New York and he also worked with Theodore Lettvin at the University of Michigan and Madame Gaby Casadesus at the Ravel Academy in France.
After winning top prizes at the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition in France, Kong has enjoyed a versatile career in both solo and chamber music performance, appearing in Carnegie Hall and her live performances have been heard on radio stations across the globe.
Tickets are $20 or $15 (students and seniors), available online at worldofmusicandarts.com.
