1. A Midsummer’s Arts Dream: Saturday and Sunday June 25 and 26

The Community Arts Council of Richmond is hosting the above-named exhibit at Thompson Community Centre, 5151 Granville Ave on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be music, refreshments and an opportunity to view the exhibition and speak to some of the artists. The exhibition is free to the public to attend.

2. London Heritage Farm Classics & Collectibles Car Show Classic: Sunday June 26 

Car lovers can motor over to London Heritage Farm (6511 Dyke Road) on June 26 to admire some rolling stock of yesteryear during the London Heritage Farm Classics & Collectibles Car Show from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the south lawn. 

The site’s farmhouse with period themed rooms for viewing, tea room (reservations recommended) and a gift shop will also be open. Entrance by donation. 

Outdoors, view the farm’s perennial gardens in full bloom, antique farm equipment, chickens and bees.

3. CARP Richmond’s second annual SHARE expo for seniors: Saturday June 25 

Back for the second year running is the Richmond and Delta chapter of CARP’s annual Seniors Health And Wellness Expo (SHARE) event.

Festivities kick off at 10 a.m. on Saturday on the grounds of South Arm United Church at No. 3 Road and Steveston Highway. More than 70 exhibitors will there to provide information and assistance on important issues such as: healthcare; emergency preparedness; nutrition; de-cluttering; renovating your home for ageing in place and obtaining good legal advice.
