1. Easter Eggstavaganza: Saturday and Sunday, April 15 and 16:
What would Easter be without an Easter Eggstravaganza? Thankfully, in Richmond, there are plenty of events to choose from at local community centres. All include an Easter egg hunt, crafts, games and a visit with the Easter Bunny himself. Parent participation is required. Saturday, April 15: 10 a.m. - noon - Hamilton Community Centre, $10 Up to age eight. Saturday, April 15: 10 a.m. - noon - South Arm Community Centre, $7 ages 4-6. Saturday, April 15: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Thompson Community Centre, $10 Up to age eight. Sunday, April 16: 10 a.m. - noon - West Richmond Community Centre, $10 to age 10.

2. Easter Tea: Saturday, April 15:
Drop by London Heritage Farm (6511 Dyke Road ) on April 15 and 16 for a special Easter tea from noon – 5 p.m. The Tea Room will feature Easter tea with special goodies including an Easter egg tart and chick cookie served along with a scone and tea. All visiting guests can enter the Easter basket draw. Special Easter gifts are available for purchase in the farm’s gift shop. For kids, there will be an Easter egg hunt in the Heritage Gardens. 3. Easter Bunny fun: Sunday, April 16:
Meet and greet with the Easter Bunny, snuggle and pose for pictures at the free, Hop Hop Horray event at Aberdeen Centre (4151 Hazelbridge Way). Hoopsmiles the Hula hoop Bunny master will be showing off his exceptional skills. Show Times: 2 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Hula Hoop workshop: 2:45 p.m. Eggstra Fun Mini Games, play mini games and win prizes. You can also get a makeover by the Bunny Princess, have your face decorated with butterflies or anything you like. And if you want to take an Easter Bunny, or another pet home? A popular balloon artist will create your favourite balloon creatures.
