The City of Richmond is looking for artists and community members to advise on public art projects.
The city is updating its public art panellist pool and they’re inviting artists, arts professionals, community members and other interested people who live in Richmond or Metro Vancouver to apply.
Selection panels review artist proposals and make recommendations on public art projects.
This open call for panel members is to renew the program’s pool of eligible people who can be called to serve on selection panels from January 2026 to December 2027.
Up to 100 individuals (aged 19+ years) will be chosen. Priority will be given to Richmond residents and those who self-identify as a member of an equity-seeking and/or under-represented community.
Individuals who are invited to take part in an artist selection process will receive an honorarium between $100 and $300.
The deadline to apply is Friday, Nov. 28.
Details and an application form can be found on the City of Richmond's website.
