The Richmond community can now vote for their favourite street banner design, which will be on display across the city next year.
This year's 20 banner design finalists for the Richmond Street Banner Contest have been shortlisted and can be viewed and voted online at LetsTalkRichmond.ca
The city received designs from artists focusing on themes such as active living, community, connection, wildlife, culture and heritage, urban landscape, nature, island city, the arts and sustainability.
A judging panel made up of community volunteers narrowed down the submissions to 20 finalists among the 10 categories.
Ten winning designs will be printed on more than 1,000 street banners and will be on display from March 2024 to February 2025.
The deadline for votes is 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8.
