Music school offers up free classical concert tickets

Ten lucky music lovers will get a chance to win tickets to an “unforgettable night of chamber music” featuring an award-winning pianist next month.

The first 10 people to call the World of Music and Arts (WMA) in Steveston will get the free tickets to the concert featuring pianist and Honens prize winner Han Chen, as well as clarinetist Christopher Lee.

The evening, on Friday, Nov. 25 at St. Helen’s Anglican Church in Vancouver is called "Music at the Crossroads of Time and Place" and will also include world premiere works by Juno-nominated composer Jared Miller and one of the most acclaimed Canadian composers in Alice Ping Yee Ho.

In addition to new compositions, performers will play masterpieces by Schumann, Brahms and Beethoven.
