Rufus Lin Gallery exhibition

On now until Jan. 13 is a solo exhibition of watercolour paintings by Naoki Totsuka, Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at 4155811 Cooney Rd. The exhibition features 12 paintings, mostly of landscapes and buildings in Japan, painted using the artist's self-developed watercolour method. The clarity, detail and soft transparent colours combine to make this body of work a significant influence on young artists in the contemporary Japanese art scene.

Richmond Singers auditions

The Richmond Singers is a 55-voice women's choir holding auditions from 7 to 9: 30 p.m.

Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings.

Family Sunday

Event at the Richmond Art Gallery, 7700 Minoru Gate. It's a free drop-in art program that offers families the occasion to explore the gallery exhibitions together through various art activities. Family Sunday is on the fourth Sunday of every month from 1 - 4 p.m.
