Richmond Public Library is offering "Library to Go: eBooks for Tablets & Smartphones" where you can learn how to use their Library to Go downloadable eBook service on your mobile device.

Sessions take place Friday, March 9 from 9: 30 to 10: 30 p.m. (program #305) at the Brighouse Branch (7700 Minoru Gate); and at Ironwood Branch (No. 5 Road and Steveston Highway) on Tuesday, March 20 from 2: 30-3: 30 p.m. (program #306). Richmond Faith Fellowship is hosting a health seminar for the community on Saturday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at the Faith Evangelical Church, 11960 Montego St. A pharmacist from London Drugs will cover topics on: osteoporosis, nutrition and metabolism, stress, diabetes, smoking cessation, healthy heart and medication. The Richmond Music School will be performing China's much loved Yellow River Concerto with professional orchestra and piano soloist Sarah Ho on Saturday, March 10 at 7: 30 p.m. The concert will also feature pianist Timothy Choi, performing Rachmaninoff's famous Piano Concerto in C Minor, and sevenyear-old virtuoso violinist Spencer Tsai. Richmond Public Library is offering free Income Tax Clinics to help low income people fill in their income tax returns. If you're a single person with a maximum income of $25,000, or a couple with a maximum income of $35,000 plus $2,000 per child, then you qualify for this free service. The clinics take place at the Brighouse (Main) Branch located at 7700 Minoru Gate in the TD Canada Trust Language Learning Centre on Saturdays March 10, 17 and 24 from 10: 30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (English and Mandarin).

Sessions are a half hour per person and couples must sign up for two consecutive slots. To register call Brighouse Branch at 604-231-6413.
