A diagnosis of dementia affects an entire family. Already, one in 11 Canadians over the age of 65 have Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia, and the incidence rate is growing. The Community Arts Council of Richmond invites everyone to its latest event - A MIDSUMMER ART'S DREAM, a free art show featuring work and photography from artists from Metro Vancouver.
It will be held at Lansdowne Centre from July 2-8, in centre court, which is next to the food court. The exhibition will be open for viewing during regular Centre hours. People are invited to vote for their favourite work of art and they could win one of several gift cards for Lansdowne Merchants.
