Third Age Learning at Kwantlen (TALK) presents a Philosophers' Café, Thursday March 1 at 11: 30 a.m. at the Steveston Hotel Cafeteria, 12111 Third Ave. Topic for discussion will be "How can we create positive change in the world today?" TALK presents An Introduction to Music Appreciation on Friday, March 9, 16 and 23 from 10-11: 50 a.m. at the Richmond campus. Richmond Public Library is offering "Library to Go: eBooks for Tablets & Smartphones" where you can learn how to use their Library to Go downloadable eBook service on your mobile device. Sessions take place on Friday, March 2 from 9: 30-10: 30 a.m. (program #305) at the Brighouse (Main) Branch; and at Ironwood Branch and on Tuesday, March 20th from 2: 30-3: 30 p.m. (program #306).
