Aberdeen Centre’s giant water fountain will be transformed into a giant stage for 80 dogs and their owners to showcase their skills and beauty for the 15 th annual dog show on Sept. 15.

A Richmond-based martial arts and life skills centre is hosting a free bullying prevention workshop later this month. Sirota's Alchymy in Steveston is organizing the workshop and is opening it up to the entire community on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The Richmond Olympic Parkrun will mark its 150 th event this Saturday, Sept. 14 and organizers are inviting everyone to come out and take part. The free 5K walk/jog/run is open to absolutely anyone and goes every Saturday at 9 a.m.
