A second Richmond workshop to tackle mental health issues experienced by first responders takes place next week, following the first one in January.

Richmond is spooking up the month with a list of Halloween-themed events leading up to the special day on Oct. 31 . The events range from children activities, family-friendly parties and even a special party for seniors.

Long before the Canada Line, Richmond and Vancouver were joined by an interurban tram line. Interurban trams are similar to streetcars, only larger and more powerful, capable of moving freight as well as passengers between cities.

The Richmond Therapeutic Riding Association (RTRA) recently opened its new, $100,000 outdoor riding ring. The association has been raising money for the last year or so for the facility at Twin Oaks Farm on No. 3 Road.
