Will you use the new trail recently opened on Garden City Lands?

From top left, clockwise:

Mike Whalen

Aviation

Yes. That would be a nice trail to go to. It would be more than just a normal trail in the woods, because it has nice gardens and nice landscaping, safe for kids. And it’s nice to have a trail in the city that everyone goes to, instead of just walking on the street.

Jim Mohamed

Retired

Yes, definitely. I think it’s a very good idea. It’s good for people at my age to go for a walk over there. I normally go to walk on the dyke in Steveston and on River Road. But this one is very open. I’d like to try that.

Sharon Knight

City of Richmond staff

Yes, definitely. It’s gonna be great for people to have another resource they can take to spend some quality time with their family members, and see Richmond, rather than see the downtown core and all the traffic and congestion.

Vincent Wong

Investment

No. This mall is my ‘trail,’ because I never feel bored here. I have been coming here for years. It’s my every-day exercise. I come and walk for two to three hours every day and look at the shops.

Jim Clarkson

Moving

Yes. I have been to that trail already. It’s exciting. I hope they will keep the park on Garden City Lands semi-wild, like many other parks in Richmond, which is nice.
