I think it’s okay. Because of my work, I’ve always been working with men. I feel like they treat female workers with extra care. It was like that at the [engineering] school, too. Guys were usually nicer to girls than to other guys.

I haven’t seen any discrimination at the workplace at all. Our workplace is very diverse, and diversity is encouraged in the workplace as well; there are programs and initiatives for that. Everyone is really included. It’s good.

Caregiver
So far I haven’t experienced any yet. With my kind of work, we are respected without any sexual discrimination. I’m thankful that I didn’t experience any of it, but I have seen a lot on TV. It’s so upsetting. I really feel sorry for them. It’s inhumane.

Transportation
I think sexual discrimination is really big at work still. A lot of the “male jobs” are so dominated by males, like mowing lawns, cutting grass. I don’t often see the girls doing that.

No I haven’t. I know that it exists, but I have not seen it where I work at. But I have seen plenty of them on TV. It’s something that has been around for a long time. It’s about time to put an end to it.
