An urgent call is being made by the Canadian Blood Services (CBS) for donors to come out in Steveston on Saturday.
According to the CBS, there are 40 spots still available at its clinic at the Steveston Community Centre on Oct. 1.
CBS is also noting that, while the “need for blood never ceases,” the national situation in terms of stock is, apparently, in a bad way.
