Molson CARHA Hockey World Cup Championship is on Friday night.

Here are a few things Richmond community members should check out from Mar. 24 to 26:

CARHA Hockey World Cup Championship game

The largest international recreational adult hockey tournament in Canada is coming to an end with a free feature championship game on Friday night. Community members will watch Richmond’s Britvegas take on Burnaby’s Devs to determine the champion of the Molson Canadian 25+ division.

Date: Friday, March 24 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Place: Minoru Arena, 7551 Minoru Gate.

Friends of the Library book sale

The Friends of the Richmond Public Library are returning with their full-size book sale since the pandemic.There will be more than 20,000 books at affordable costs. There will be selections of gently used books as well including fiction, children's, Chinese and many non-fiction categories. All proceeds will benefit Richmond library programs.

Date: March 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; March 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Place: Thompson Community Centre, 5151 Granville Ave.

Blossom and Bloom Craft Market

A local crafters and artisan market will be open for the public this weekend. Sip wine and enjoy live entertainment while exploring the various craft booths. It is free admission, free parking and dog-friendly for everyone

Date: March 25 and 26 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Place: Lulu Island Winery, 16880 Westminster Hwy.
