Two siblings and their neighbourhood friends are having a yard sale to fundraise for the Canucks Autism Network (CAN) this month.

Visitors can expect plants, flowers, children's items and fresh cherries, picked from their aunt’s yard, for sale.

The kids had set their goal to raise $150 for the autism foundation this year.

As of July 7, they exceeded their goal and have raised $240 so far.

“All the kids [living on] this street know each other and care about others,” said Anne Lai, mother of Bryan and Ivy Zeng.

The Zeng siblings started their own fundraiser last year after seeing people raise money for their school playground by selling lemonade.

They raised $130 and donated it to B.C. Children’s Hospital last year.

“After [hearing] our story, [the neighbourhood kids] also decided to join Bryan and Ivy for the fundraising,” added Lai.

The sale started on July 1st and will continue to July 15 or until everything is sold.

Supporters can find the lovely shop open from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 10631 Argentia Dr, Richmond, BC V7E 4K6.
