Richmond shopping centre breaks world record...

...for building London's Big Ben out of Pez candy dispensers

Not many can claim it, but Aberdeen Centre now boasts the world’s largest Pez Dispenser sculpture.

With a bit of a fanfare last Thursday, the Guinness Book of World Records officially measured and proclaimed the structure, modeled on London, England’s famous Big Ben tower clock, as the tallest of its kind on the planet at five feet by five feet by seven feet.

Hong Kong-based artist Dio Wong, along with volunteers, spent several weeks building the sculpture out of the candy dispensers.

Also on display are the London Eye and Tower Bridge, both built out of Pez candies. All three structures are on display until Sept. 4.
