Richmond restaurant raises money for hospital

Richmond Centre’s White Spot hosted their 18th annual Christmas luncheon and raised money to support the Richmond Hospital on Dec. 25.

Veena Ganatra, owner of white Spot Richmond Centre, and her staff raised $11,888 at this year’s event by donating 100 per cent of the restaurant’s proceeds and gratuities to support the Richmond Hospital Foundation.

Since 2001, the Richmond restaurant branch has raised over $140,000 for the Richmond Hospital Foundation with the goal to inspire the spirit of giving.
