On Feb. 22, will you wear pink in support of creating kindness in your community?

If you’re looking for inspiration about how you can help inspire and promote acts of kindness, look no farther than Richmond Public Library (RPL).

Starting Feb. 19, the Brighouse branch, plastered the walls with information about the origins of Pink Shirt Day, also known as Erase Bullying Day.

Visitors found inspiring stories of teens who have shown extraordinary courage in the face of bullying and places they could write your own messages about acts of kindness.

Nearby, there will be a number of book displays on the topic of bullying if you’d like to learn more. There is also customized booklists for kids, teens and adults.

Pink Shirt Day is being celebrated on Feb. 22 by community organizations, the Richmond School District and local businesses across the city.
