Halloween is in full swing in Richmond and over 20 family-friendly activities are available to Richmondites.

From those who are superstitious to those who are "a little stitious," there's bound to be something that catches your eye on the city's extensive list of activties.

For artsy Richmondites, check out the decorations at Richmond Nature Park's Halloween Hoot and grab a spooky sketch from local artist Bea. If you're trying to find inspiration for pumpkin decorating, check out the workshops at Steveston and South Arm community centres.

Richmondites interested in STEM, on the other hand, should check out Science World On the Road's science demonstrations.

If you're looking to party in style, pop into Minoru Arenas in your costumes and skate to Halloween tunes, or get groovy at Cambie Community Centre's Monster Mash dance party.

To end the series of exciting Halloween celebrations with a bang, the city is holding a Halloween Fireworks Festival at Minoru Park from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Halloween night. Expect magicians, jugglers and acrobats, and watch out for "roaming performers" such as face painters and stilt walkers.

While visitors wait for the city's largest fireworks display, there will also be an inflatable corn maze, games and activities led by City Centre Community Association's youth leadership group, and food trucks. The 15-minute fireworks finale is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m.
