Third Age Learning at Kwantlen (TALK) is back with more interesting courses for adults over 50.

The course catalogue includes both online and in-person courses, with three out of 13 in-person offerings to be held on the KPU Richmond campus.

Two out of the three Richmond offerings are focused on climate change. "Climate Action in Metro Vancouver" offers insight into how the region's strategies for being low-carbon and resilient, while "Eating for the Planet" is a workshop about reducing carbon emissions with one's diet.

For those interested in life outside of Earth, "Stars and Galaxies" is a two-session crash course into everything in the Solar System and beyond.

In addition to the paid courses, TALK will be holding free talks on topics ranging from the benefits of social media to tackling the toxic drug crisis at Wisteria Place in Richmond. The events will take place on the first Thursday from February to May at 10:30 a.m.

Registration for the Winter/Spring session began on Jan. 9, 2023 and details can be found online.
