McArthurGlen outlet in Richmond is celebrating Mother's Day with a charity donation campaign

If you don’t know what to give for Mother’s Day this year, how about donating to a local charity under her name?

McArthurGlen is encouraging community members to donate to your mom’s charity of choice and you will receive a Mother’s Day gift set.

According to Ally Day, marketing manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport, the campaign is part of the outlet’s way of helping the local community.

“We know that not all families have the luxury of celebrating Mother’s Day together this year, so we wanted to provide a socially distanced gift solution while honouring mom with a charity donation on mom’s behalf that’s close to her heart,” said Day.

“This program is part of the centre’s ongoing work to support the local community and charities in the area that are near and dear to us all.”

With a value of $275, the gift set will include items from outlet brands including Ted Baker, Matt & Nat, Herschel, L’Occitane, Tommy Hilfiger, and more.

While gift sets are limited, patrons need to email inquiries.vancouver@mcarthurglen.com with the subject line “Mother’s Day Gift Concierge” from now until May 8 about your interest in the campaign and look for a confirmation email from the outlet before donating to a charity.

A receipt with a recommended minimum donation of $25 to any choice of charity is needed before picking up the gift.

Gift pick-up dates are from May 6 to 15 and will be confirmed by McArthurGlen.
