A Richmond finance company recently raised more than $15,000 to support health care in the city.
The fundraiser was held at Canwa Financial Services Group's 25th anniversary celebration on Dec. 14, 2022 with 250 guests in attendance.
“It truly is a blessing to be able to help others in the community,” said Simon Feng, philanthropist and founder of Canwa Financial.
“This is just the beginning and I hope more of my colleagues, friends and clients will continue to join me in giving back to Richmond Hospital Foundation and help build a healthier community.”
Canwa Financial specializes in wealth management, tax planning and other financial services for individuals and families. The company had connected with Richmond Hospital Foundation through the efforts of the foundation's Chinese Giving Action Ambassadors.
“This donation will support Richmond Hospital’s most urgent needs, giving our physicians and their teams the vital tools and resources to provide compassionate and critical health care here in Richmond," said Spencer Gall, campaign director for Richmond Hospital Foundation.
