Staff and VIP guests of Richmond Anti-Aging Clinic and MMC Medical Group managed to raise $42,000 to benefit BC Women's Health Foundation last year.
A gala was held by MMC Medical Group in October 2022 to "amplify the voices of women in need" and raise awareness of the challenges in women's health research, according to the BC Women's Health Foundation's media release.
Attendees were encouraged to provide more support to women's health research, as it is an area that is often overlooked.
"MMC Group and the Richmond Anti-Aging Clinic believe that supporting programs providing essential medical treatment and funding cutting-edge research and education initiatives are necessary to reaching women who require care the most," reads the release.
Funds were raised by clients, clinicians, doctors and guests at the gala through a silent auction, raffle and a pledge, and will go toward supporting women's health in B.C.
