Kudos: Local church donates $24K to Richmond Hospital Foundation

Funding to go towards new technologies at the hospital.

Richmond's Koinonia Evangelical Church donated $24,300 to benefit Richmond Hospital Foundation's Medical Imaging Centre campaign.

The local church highlights the important values of of compassion and service while prioritizing health care support in the community.

Koinonia has previously supported the health care advancements at the Richmond Hospital including the Yurkovich Family Pavilion, the new acute care tower, Covid-19 Relif Fund and the Surgical Restart Campaign.

"We are honoured to support Richmond Hospital Foundation's Medical Imaging Centre Campaign to improve our growing population’s access to imaging technology," said Haines Lee, Deacon at Koinonia Evangelical Church.

"At Koinonia, we believe in the transformative power of compassion and service. By investing in health care, we not only support our values but also assist individuals and families to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives."

The Richmond Hospital Foundation has currently raised 96 per cent of its target goal of $25 million to fund technologies in the new, expanded Medical Imaging Centre.
