The Richmond Repair Fair is returning for one day this weekend.
Community members can bring one clothing item per person, per session to have it mended at the East Richmond Community Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18.
Clothing items that need mending could be to fix a broken seam, a hole, or even a zipper.
The event is a way to encourage residents to "rethink waste" to help reduce waste and support a circular economy.
All drop-ins will meet with a repair expert on a first-come, first-serve basis and each session is 20 minutes only.
