It's that time of the year for Richmond residents to say goodbye to their Christmas trees.
The Richmond Firefighters Charitable Society (RFCS) is hosting its annual tree chipping event this weekend on Jan. 6 and 7 at Garry Point Park.
Residents can drop off their trees between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on either days and make a donation to the RCFS as they put the trees through the big rig.
All donations raised at the event will be used to help the community.
