Steveston Dragon Boat Festival

One of B.C.’s biggest dragon boat racing events is returning to Steveston, with 78 teams from around North America set to compete.

In addition to some thrilling races, the free-admission event will also feature live music, food vendors and child-friendly activities.

10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Curio sale

You’ll be able to score some unique vintage finds, such as English bone china, art, jewelry, vinyl records and more at Richmond Hospital/Healthcare Auxiliary Thrift Shop . All proceeds from the Thrift Store support healthcare programs and new medical equipment in Richmond.

10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

End of Summer Wine Swirl

Lulu Island Winery is hosting its third-annual wine swirl. The free-admission event will have delicious food, fun activities for kids and adults, and of course, free wine tasting. There’ll even be customized Instagram photo booths for selfie lovers.
