The City of Richmond is reactivating memberships to make fitness and aquatics access and registration even easier.

Richmondites with memberships can now reactivate them to access and register for fitness and aquatic classes being held at local community centres.

Memberships were put on hold when Richmond facilities were closed due to the pandemic in mid-March.

As services are being restored, the city announced that memberships can be reactivated with class registrations to open on Oct. 26.

Membership holders, including 10-visit card holders for the Minoru Centre for Activing Living, can register for aquafit classes, fitness centre visits and swim sessions which will start Nov. 2.

Those with an existing membership who do not use their pass anymore can request a credit or a refund at dollar value.

Credit or refund will be given for the period the pass was not available for use including time remaining on their paid-in-full membership.

Purchase a new membership, reactivate an existing membership or receive a credit or refund, visit Richmond.ca/register or phone 604-276-4300 Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
