4Cats art studio returns to Steveston village

After a short hiatus, 4Cats in Steveston is back under new management just in time for their fall season program.

The studio, which was previously franchise-owned, closed in 2017. At the time, 4Cats Enterprises Inc. did not consider taking over the studio but later decided the location was too good to pass up and decided to re-open after all.

“We love Steveston so much we just wanted to be back here and the people are really welcoming and happy to have us back here in Steveston,” said Marina Romero, Steveston’s 4Cats supervisor, adding that Steveston visitors can expect a new display of projects along the window of the studio.

“All the projects of the sessions (are) displayed on the window so many customers can see what is being done during this season.”

Their new fall exploratory program at the studio allows kids to choose the type of art medium they would like to try out.

Romero said that back in 2017, “the programs were specific painting classes or clay classes, but now it is all together like a multimedia class and we let the kids choose what they want to do.”

But now kids can choose between, for example, clay or painting.

The new 4Cats studio is located at the old Meow and Barks spot in Steveston at 3820 Moncton St.
