Three actors with ties to Richmond have hit the stage this month in a Vancouver production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Former Richmond residents Ranae Miller, Jenny Anderson and Caitlin Clugston are helping to tell the story of Sweeney Todd, a barber who was unjustly imprisoned by a corrupt judge and who returns for revenge 15 years later.

The show is playing at Mrs. Lovett’s Pie Shop in Vancouver’s Gastown. During the play, real meat or veggie pies are served.

While tickets sold out swiftly, the show continues to run until Oct. 31.
