Richmond Tennis Club welcomed young players during its winter season under the bubble. The club officially welcomes the outdoor season on April 14.

Following a successful winter under the “bubble," the Richmond Tennis Club’s outdoor season has arrived.

The club will be officially welcome the 2019 outdoor campaign with Opening Day on April 14 with all courts at the Minoru Park facility in full operation.

Several local schools took advantage of the Minoru Park facility over a cold stretch of weather in February.

Teams from Richmond High, Burnett and McMath all held training sessions. MacNeill’s Incentive Program took part in a set of five lessons delivered by RTC coaches. Now, students from Steveston/London have come to the club for instruction and practice.

The club also held junior camps over the spring break and hosted a part of Tennis B.C. Rookie Tour events that attracted children from around the Lower Mainland for competitive play at the introductory.
