A career performance from Jessica Jones has earned her Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week honours.
The former McMath standout poured in 32 points in last Friday’s 81-79 home floor win over UC-Colorado Springs. She went 11-of-29 from the field including 6-of-13 from three-point range, while chipping in with four assists and three steals in 31 minutes of playing time.
The following night, Jones added eight points in a 77-58 victory over Western Colorado. The sophomore guard is averaging 23 points per game that also includes a 30-point effort back on Nov. 12 in a 91-84 loss to Hawaii Pacific.
SFU (5-5) returns to action Dec. 3 when Western Washington visits the Burnaby Mountain campus at 5:15 p.m.
