Ireland, India, Italy and Croatia sit atop their Men's Open groups as the 40th annual Nations Cup enters championship Sunday at Hugh Boyd.

Unbeaten starts for Ireland, India, Italy and Croatia have them in control of their Men’s Open groups as championship Sunday arrives at the 40th annual Nations Cup soccer tournament.

Ireland took control of Group A with a 2-1 win on Saturday afternoon over defending champion Africa. They will still have to get past Iran (1-1-0) this morning to lock-up a semi-final berth.

India (2-0-0) needs to take care of Caribbean (1-1-0) in another pivotal Sunday morning tilt for Group B honours.

Italy (2-0-0) can secure Group C with a win over Scotland (1-1-0) while Croatia (2-0-0) will secure Group D with a victory against winless Japan (0-2-0).

The Open semi-finals take place at 1:30 p.m. with the winners advancing to the championship game at 6 p.m. at the Hugh Boyd Oval.

Other finals today include Women’s Open (3 p.m.), Over 52 (3 p.m.), Over 30 (4:30 p.m.) Over 45 (4:30 p.m.) and Over 38 (4:30 p.m.).

All games take place at Boyd with plenty of food trucks and the popular beer garden for fans.
