Rosewood Manor residents received a little holiday cheer recently, as 156 gifts were delivered by staff from Richmond individuals and families as part of London Drugs’ stocking stuffers for seniors campaign. Rosewood Manor resident Pearl Weiss is pictured receiving a gift with her husband, Bill. The campaign ran for its second year in an attempt to combat loneliness and isolation that may be felt by Richmond seniors. Photo submitted
The ALS Society of BC received $1,000 from the River Rock Casino Resort. The funds will be used for programs provided to people living with ALS in B.C. to ensure the best quality of life possible.
