Dear Editor, Re: “More than Chinese to be remembered,” Letters, Aug. 2. The letter from Morris McWhirter, reflects how Richmond, specifically Steveston, should celebrate all of Richmond’s diversity.

Dear Editor, I read with interest the recent news about a Chinese lawyer wanting to run for mayor. She claimed the Chinese are being discriminated against. Balderdash! I took a recent walk in Steveston and noticed there was only a Chinese bunkhouse.
