Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher series is coming to Netflix starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, so now is the time to get caught up with the books.

Dear Editor, Re: “Rebuild Fraser Street Bridge,” Letters , Nov. 21. I used the Fraser Street Bridge more so than the Oak Street Bridge as an attractive solution to the then-congested Oak Street Bridge.

What sets wineries apart from each other? Location, terroir, the grapes planted, and the winemaker easily come to mind.

Every time I’ve been to the Richmond Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards (which is about five), I walk away inspired, having heard some remarkable stories of plucky entrepreneurs and ingenuous startups who have put their passions to work.

Dear Editor, As a Richmond resident, I would like to see the transportation network designed on a regional perspective, not just pushing the bottleneck down to the Oak Street entrance from the current Massey Tunnel exit.

Dear Editor, Re: “Money-laundering inquiry hears of prostitution, birth tourism,” News , Nov. 14. The Cullen Commission on money laundering in B.C. has held several public meetings, including one in Richmond.

Thirty-two years in Italy changed my diet. When I came back to Richmond in 2008, I was surprised and delighted to see that “cavolo nero” – Tuscan kale – had made it to the vegetable gardens of the Pacific Northwest.

Dear Editor, As the project advanced, I became increasing alarmed by what the city is up to at Woodwards Slough, at the south end of Garden City Road. I’ve read the city’s document about this Woodward’s Slough Habitat Compensation.
