Open letter to Kenny Chiu and Alice Wong, I have just finished reading the Thursday, Jan. 2 edition of the Richmond News .

Dear Editor, Re: “Map: Richmond pushes for more bike lanes,” Richmond-News.com, Dec. 13. I am a daily user of the bike paths in Richmond, and I would never ride along Steveston Highway. I would be dead within a month.

Rocketman is a pretty good movie. It has received a number of award nominations, including a Golden Globe win for Taron Egerton’s portrayal of Elton John.

Open letter to mayor and councillors, Re: Updated: “New Richmond fitness centre opens Jan. 1,” Richmond-News.com, Dec. 14 I’m glad to hear that the new fitness centre has finally opened; that’s good news.

Dear Editor, Re: “Who picks up the tab matters,” column , Dec. 19. Thank you for your editorial. Nothing is for nothing! The only force that can defy totalitarian control is free individuals. That is why China does not tolerate personal freedom.

Open letter to mayor and council, Why are companies like Impark issued business licences in Richmond? Yesterday, I bought 90 minutes of parking at Richmond Hospital, never suspecting that our father’s pre-admission clinic would take four hours.
