Re: "Wong stands by decision to eat shark fin," News, Oct. 17.
I am appalled by Alice Wong's attitude on this issue. Deliberately maiming a creature and then returning it to an environment where it will be unable to fend for itself is, in my opinion, animal cruelty.
As an MP she should condemn this inhumane practice and show an example by refusing to eat this soup.
She is supposed to be a representative of her community. She does not represent me or anyone I know.
