The Editor,
I wish to inform the public to be always vigilant with their belongings at the Richmond Public Library Brighouse branch. Last weekend, my silver MacBook Pro laptop was stolen on the second floor of the library.
Normally, I would take my laptop with me even to go to the washroom. Unfortunately I forgot to do it at that time.
The staff at the library stated that a lot of laptops have been stolen in the past and they already requested the city to install cameras.
I have irreplaceable files, photos and video clips of my kids in that laptop. I am pleading to whoever took my laptop to please return it to the library, no questions asked. This loss has caused considerable anguish and frustration.
I am offering a reward for the safe return of my laptop.
