Open letter to city governments,
Your days of spending and taxing, and blowing hardworking citizens’ taxation dollars on your pet projects are over.
Rein it in, storm clouds loom over you. The province is correct in not to be giving you guys a bailout.
You have not demonstrated fiscal responsibility.
Every pet project and bike lane funding should end immediately. Heed this warning from the Premier, there is no second chance for your out-of-control spending.
