Letters: Overpass blunders call for better training for drivers

Richmond News reader thinks drivers need better training to prevent further strikes to overpasses in the Lower Mainland.

Dear Editor,

All these overpass strikes boil down to two things only: lack of training and profit.

Give better training and get rid of the profit.

The final responsibility for a safe load rests with the driver. 

The latest accident involved a helicopter — the damages could be in the millions.

It will only stop when the insurance companies stop paying for gross negligence and the company has to pay.
