Letters: Keep your distance!

Dear Editor, On my bike trips and walks throughout our community, I’m amazed and disappointed with what I’m seeing. The city has posted signs and arrows directing the public to walk one-way around Garry Point Park.
PriceSmart
There was a lineup outside PriceSmart Foods on Ackroyd Road as the store limited how many people could enter at a time in order to practice social distancing.

Dear Editor,

On my bike trips and walks throughout our community, I’m amazed and disappointed with what I’m seeing. The city has posted signs and arrows directing the public to walk one-way around Garry Point Park. Several people were not taking any notice and one young man, running fast towards me (a 78-year-old old!), forced me to step away from the rubber mats to avoid him!

While riding my bike along Dyke Road near Gilbert, a man was running towards me. I couldn’t swerve as a car was passing me. So he ran by within one foot of me.

Please, wake up and keep your distance.
