Reading A. Matthew’s letter makes me wish fervently that the comments option was reinstated in the online edition of the Richmond News.
What a heartwarming account.
I, too, want to express my thanks to the young hero who went out of his way to rescue the distressed seagull that was helpless in the midst of busy traffic.
This is a deed worth remembering, especially in these times when the welfare and protection of all nature isn’t exactly foremost in most people’s minds.
