Dear Editor, I want to thank the many volunteers who have helped so much in this campaign. And I thank the residents of Richmond, who voted for me with the hope that I would become their mayor.

Dear Editor,

I want to thank the many volunteers who have helped so much in this campaign.

And I thank the residents of Richmond, who voted for me with the hope that I would become their mayor.

Congratulations to incumbent mayor Malcolm Brodie for his win.

He has given much service to the City of Richmond for many years and will continue to do so as mayor.

Congratulations also to the re-elected councillors and especially newly-elected councillors, Michael Wolfe and Kelly Greene, who will now make up the next city council.

I have learned a lot from all of you and the people I met face-to-face on the streets of Richmond and at the front doors of many residences.

I believe the people of Richmond want well managed change and all people want their community to grow and prosper.

I will continue to support that growth and do what I can to bring about positive change, prosperity and harmony to our community.

As a business lawyer who has lived and worked in Richmond, I am acutely aware of the many social challenges our community faces.

I will continue my involvement in the community and thank you again for your support.

Hong Guo
